Layers bakery & cafe is open Monday - Sunday 8am-4pm for freshly baked goods, brunch and coffee.
We also supply our breads and pastries wholesale throughout London to specialty coffee shops and restaurant venues 362 days a year. Baked overnight in E14 for the freshest delivery.

Layers: Lamination is the process of folding and rolling butter into dough over and over again to create super thin layers. These layers, which alternate between butter and dough, are what give croissants their signature layers structure and their fabulously flaky texture.
In bread making there are layers too, when cutting through a developed raw dough you can see the layers of gluten structure and micro cells of air which play a huge role on the final crumb structure.

Layers was born out of passion and necessity. Chelsea was forever on the hunt for quality sourdough bread and viennoiserie products for her London based cafes District & Where's Fred's. Together with the passion Giulia & Faye have to deliver that, they have teamed up to bring you Layers.
